Brand : Newbery Excalibur
Grains : 7
Grade : G 1
price : £56

Because it was the first bat I owned I had nothing to rate it against, but with the benefit of hindsight it was a top performing blade. When new it weighed 3lb exactly, so that might have had something to do with the way that the ball flew off it. There was very little running required.

Brand: Python Pro
Grains: 9/10
Grade: 1/1+

Great bat, was a little hard at first but 6 nets later it's a belta! Feels much nicer than my Salix now, which really surprised me and considering they haven't being going long it speaks volumes for the brand - not only am I impressed but many people who I've netted with has agreed it's a beautiful bat on pickup and performance... The handle is really nice aswell!

One of the biggest six hitting bats I had, got off a mate who used to play for Bahrain

Hands down my Laver PB, which was made in the mid 90's M & H shape. Absolute gun from the get go and still going strong. Every other bat thus far falls very far from that one. Sorry can't add photos as I have added stickers that admin said I could not show.

Brand: Laver
Grains: 7
Grade: 1
Price: 250
