Eng vs West Indies t20s
« on: March 09, 2014, 05:05:52 PM »

So, I'm bored. Aus vs sa rained out. So I've had a poor afternoon(apart from shef u in semis), and am just waiting for the England game.

So gayle is apparently back? Will we win? Is he the monster to our 4prong spin attack? Can we cope without root?(strange asking that after he was dropped in aus from test and odi's)

I'm gonna guess at the starting 11

Lumb
Ali
Stokes
Bell
Morgan
Buttler
Bopara
Bresnan
Broad
Tredwell
Parry

Unfortunately I think GILES will end up picking dernbach, and will wright get a return? Hope neither play though.

How about Alex Hales?

He was injured for the Odis, I've not read anything suggesting he's recovered but could be wrong.

Hmmm,

Glad to see hales back. But wright is in. And only tredwell as spinner. Why oh why is dernbach playing.

Seems they are in fear of the Gaylestorm taking out the spinners,

Good to see Hales playing again as he's one of our hitters.

And if they're worried about Gayle hitting the spinners out of the park, why on earth would you put Jade "hit this into the stands" Dernbach in as a replacement. What does he have on the selectors to keep gettin a game??  ???

Dernbach and wright. Brilliant selection, good bloke selection policy.

Looks like Bell's got a nice holiday

I'm sure they have good team ethics... #BlameKP

Giles and the ECB are still a farce. It's all gone quiet as they hoped but hopefully people won't just forget.

Having met dernbach he was not that nice can't believe he is in

He did well before the world starting picking his slower ball now he gets twated more than he does well

Weight did well in t20 in aus so worth a go for me before World Cup

Thought Ali deserved a go as promising with bat and ball

At least Smith is playing himself in, strike rate of over 300!
