Forgot to ask Procricket, how much are the B3s.

Also Damo what make are the gloves with your name on them?

They are called pro grade wicket keeper gloves, but basically I think it's the website cricket boxes own little brand etc, there good gloves at a reasonable price to be fair, very happy with them.

we had a B3 night at my club and the gloves are oustanding, but there's plenty of life left in my M&H's so i don't need to buy.

i don't have any rituals really, other than marking my off stump and a distance line (similar to Garrett) to stop me being called for no balls.

i never wear sunglasses to keep in.

our first team keeper absolutely ruins his gloves every season, he wears straight through the palms. i don't have the same problem though and the wear tends to be fairly even. if i catch anything "baseball style" it tends to be in the webbing. the only thing i find is that the right glove fits slightly looser because that's the one i take off to throw.

I do have a routine that I do and I forgot about it. I usually stand up the whole game and I mark a horizontal line the from the stumps by putting my boots in front of each other and marking a line. That way I know I'm close enough but won't put my gloves in front.

Too be honest I don't actually think about keeping or taking the ball, I just catch it.

What I hate to see is keepers using their pads, it's just wrong.

I hate to see keepers using there pads to, its just laziness and often in my opinion a sign of bad footwork.

Which are your favoured gloves crobbo? And are the GN Le's "Mustard" or just standard apart from the colour?!

I would have to say my custom mades are my favourite. The Kippax ones are very supple, but there is not enough twist kb the thumb for my liking. As for the Gray Nicolls, bar the colours, there is not much difference on than standard , although the Mustard ones are slightly more rounded.
Looking to get some B3 ones next.

I love the customs, they Geoff wymers or plimmers ? I'm a big fan of simple design gloves looks so classy, B3's look so good.

there performance is good for the price, a good all rounder, good palm and finger protection fairly soft but not as soft straight up as other gloves on the market but a few training sessions etc and your cooking on gas.

I tend to warm up a fair bit before a game. Usually a lap around the boundary unless it is very hot. Then a load of stretches for my old body. I usually get someone to hit balls at me for 5-10 mins with a foam bat gradually getting harder then wider of me.

Just before we go out to field I will do some quick side steps to get my feet moving. When the time comes to stand up I will do some quick side-to-sides behind the stumps with my gloves dragging across the ground to keep me nice and low. I've only been keeping for about 2 years so I imagine I'm more fussy than most.
