Left Pad first, left gloves first.

Tap everything in the changing room to make sure i've got it (have gone out without my box before, and once when hungover, my pads. So do a "testicles spectacles wallet n watch check)

As many catches as I can before a game starts. take a large bottle of water down as well which goes by sight screen although I rarely drink from it.

I'm constantly cleaning my specs as I notice the smallest speck on there.

I also push my hands into the part of the glove by the heel of my hand. Probably need gloves a smidgin smaller, and having a minorlydeformed little finger on my right hand means I can't tend to feel when my pinky is at the end of my glove.

Just out of interest what keeping gear do you have ?

Ideally would do some work on katchet then take a few balls in the fielding drills then take some deliveries from the bowlers warming up on edge of square. Being captain though i rarely get the time to do a proper warm up meeting captains, umpires, teamsheets etc.

do any of you fellow keepers tend to find on the palms of your keeping gloves that one palm will have a lot more wear than the other ?

is this due to having a leading hand or something.

Yeah they are Dukes, bizarrely i found these at my club. Nobody ever claimed them inc oppo for that day so i had them. Only used them a few times in matches, tend to be the pair i loan to oppos or give to teammates during training. They are very nice, very soft.

Yeah always the right hand for me, as you say its because its my "leading hand". Any reverse handed takes will be with my right, any one handed takes above my head are with my right and most one handed diving takes will be away to my right so it makes sense there is a little more wear (not loads more mind) on my right glove

This thread makes me wish I was a keeper, purely so I can own more kit.

I sometimes wish i wasnt purely because i have too much kit to drag around. I get envious of team mates who have medium size kit bags they can pick up with one hand. :D

i play for two sides but my mode of transport is a motorbike and as i have far to much kit i literally just have kit everywhere its a nightmare, then if im starting to prefer one bat over another etc i have to try and find a way of getting it to the game for the other side i play for as well as its not easy taking kit everywhere on a bike
