Expensive for that it is/does.

You can just use PVA glue and other things to keep your grip in place that are a lot cheaper than this. Or alternatively you could just roll the grip back down again...

too much bottom hand = riding up grip

it might be useful to cover the whole handle in it, might give it a go.

Bit of plumber's PTFE tape would do the same job wouldn't it?

surely its just carpet grip tape to stop rugs etc moving on hard flooring? bit expensive, especially for the length of tape you actually get.

Decent enough tape but like RedInk says surely its just expensive Carpet Tape?

I  put double sided D.I Y. Tape around the binding at the bottom of the handle and then roll the grip onto it.

It's a lot more sophisticated than it appears through the video, it isn't actually sticky at all. Thus meaning you don't have to change it when you change your grip. Whilst I'm sure there are other ways to achieve the same result, there's also a reason that a lot of pro players already have this/are enquiring about it.
