Bah! Just got back home after a minor op - no cricket for me for the next 2/3 Saturdays - Poocakes!

Good luck to everyone getting a game in today.

turned up to play today to find out that ex west indies test player and current lashings player Corey Collymore was playing for us, for to say he was unplayable he looked as though he was walking up to bowl and turning his arm over and to be fair he was too good for the oppo batsmen so much that they didn't nick it, he picked up 3 wickets all lbw i think, and even though the game was abandoned it was a good experience playing with him.

Played against a very Chinese looking guy who was deaf, first time I played any one who looked even remotely east Asian. He batted brilliantly today, played very nice pull shots.

we had nine players manage to restrict them to 121 all out. then we got dismissed for 41 from 26 overs. i managed 5 runs of 7 overs on what is most likely my last weekend game of the season as i start a new job on the 23rd

spanked a team we - erm - don't get on well with.  72* and three slip catches. Happy.  For once.

I know the guy. He plays for a team called West London Deaf who are made up of mostly deaf players. Good bat. I snicked him off last time I played them and he obviously didn't hear it and nor did their umpire!

Golden duck. 1st bat since surgery last year. Inswiging yorker that I dug out but it managed to hit both feet before knocking over my off stump. Made up for it by getting the last wicket to get a tie.1st time on my cricketing life I've been involved in a tie

5 for 10 yesterday, unfortunately then gloved one behind for single figures.

Still biggest surprise it lashed it down and we still started on time

We had what you could say a comfy win. We batted first and posted 474-5 from 50 overs. Oppo all out for 172. I mustered up a 2no and 1 wicket. That is a stark contrast to last week where we were 150 all out and one of our team getting 100no. We still have our 100% win record in the league.

474?? May I ask what the hell was the point in racking that up?
