According to my team mates, whilst we were batting, as per usual it was the coldest place on earth.  I was boiling hot from running between the wickets so I wouldn't know  :D

Huge outfield, bit of a road so sat on the front foot all day and just batted properly.  :-[

If there's one place you don't want to play on a cold day it's Woodside park, on top of a hill and very open. It's suprisingly colder than our ground an we overlook the sea (Estuary).

Hoping for dry weather on Saturday, can feel a win coming on!

Thats for certain.  Closely followed on cold days by Orsett, Chelmsford and Billericay.  Had the horror of a game against Ardleigh Green last Saturday, it was 25degs, no wind gets to you and there is no shade.  Can be a killer!

You in the ones or twos at Leigh?

The Ardleigh Green Bowl! All the wind goes over your head there.

Forgot about Chelmsford (Chelmer Park), thats bleak when it's cold! I'm in the ones, we played at Billericay last week, lovely ground the County do everything for them over their, but like AG no shade and it was roasting! Nice bunch of blokes at Billericay, they have a cracking seam attack.

Their twos are romping the league at the moment.

I'm playing against Hutton at home this week, I'm not in their best books as my 70* last year relegated them!  Can't wait for it.  I like a bit of spice to a game.

Although when keeping against your twos your opening bat (Clarke?) didn't like my sledging much and started abusing me... haha, that said, I usually deserve it!  ;)

Haha you felt the roth of Clarkey, I've played with him for years. He used to be a good keeper/bat and gave plenty of verbal, before a hip op last year, this is his first season back for a few years. You probably played against my dad, (John, slow left arm and my bro steve might have kept).

If Hutton 2's are anything like their 1's there will be plenty of verbal in the game. We've got Romford and GP at home.

Yeah, me and Clarkey didn't get on great... haha.  No idea really who I played against, 3 of our top 4 hit 50's against your lot and muggins here was the only one to fail.  Massive send off from Clarke ha.

Yeah, Hutton usually have a bit to say for themselves.  We went from 20-4 to 190-5 against them last year, so many verbals, they lost their heads a bit.  Craig Miller and Spooner are the two to see out in their twos, decent bowlers for the level.

Against Gidea they have a decent left arm seamer, Jamal Francis is a very good little player and obviously Collier is a good player.  Not much outside that from when I've seen them this year (played vs them in conf cup and they were playing Westcliff on the same pitch as us whilst we were playing your lot!!!)

I used to play against Miller and Spooner when they were in the ones (millers had several clubs), both quality players. Miller used to be rapid whe he was younger and a complete fruit cake!

We had RGP 60-6 earlier in the season, had the game in the bag when a torrential down poor meant we couldn't get back out. Not sure why we are playing them again so soon as we are not half way through the league season yet.

How did you find our overlapping boundaries?
