If you aren't in the UK,  then BBC videos don't work.

Not true, I am in Canada and able to watch these videos.

On topic, if BBC videos are not working get the baseball videos. Or search for cricket masterclass on youtube

Really?Hard to understand why they do that...!!

Don't know if I am breaking any unknown forum rule here but try the following steps to access the videos.

Install chrome and add the Zenmate plugin, once installed click on the shield icon to go to add on settings.
In the settings change the public location to UK.

Now go browse the BBC UK site.

To me, it doesn't matter how good you are. Sport is all about playing and competing. Whatever you do in cricket and in sport, enjoy it, be positive and try to win.

If you want to throw flat and not hurt your arm and shoulder - ensure that the power comes from the wrist all the way up (and not the other way around!!). Pain occurs since you are using more of the upper arm (read biceps). Wrist -> forearm -> biceps AND throw. Ofcourse, this requires practice.

Additionally, once you have practiced this (starting with 20 yard throws and then going further back once comfortable) start using your body into the throw. Throwing arm back and using the whole body during the throw by rotating.Basically swinging your body along with the throw.

Hope this helps.

Just saw something called Duraband for cricket on the forum twitter feed and a demo video on you tube with Ian Pont.

Worth looking into as it may help improve the muscle strength and throwing mechanism.

Yes mate. Good call. In baseball, outfielders will start at about 10 metres and work back to 30-40+ metres in reps.
Look to use you legs in the throw too...pushing off the back leg. It takes practice. Twice a week for 6 months for me.
