Well I had a full day there this and boy is it graft.

People do not understand the sheer scale of the operation well I didn't I worked from 8 to 8 and what a day I had getting home around 11.

I started by knocking a few bats in around 11 including 5 going out to the pro's which I enjoyed then onto the refurbishment of around 10 then they let me loose on the de nibber and then polishing bats which is my personal favourite and took a little time to get used to but in the end I thought I did ok.

I tried bineding but have to admit I'm pants at that currently but will up my game so I can offer the full range.

Have to take my bat off to them all cheers Gavin and Neil for showing me the ropes and really taking time with me passing on there experiance and know how.

And for my mate Streaky just wow he worked non stop for 13 hours in the factory and I know he had bat designs to do at home and another 3 hours there too I know he is one of 3 owners but simply I though I was driven this man is driven.

Brilliant day brilliant people got to admit I'm not a natural in woodwork and all that gissardry but as always willing to learn and learn I did pictures to come.

I wish it was my full time job maybe in time .

Just brilliant a I can say people who know me know how bonkers I'm about it all will know how much I enjoy it and it is a privilidge there.

If is hard work but the kind I like I went from a colts size 5 needing a refurb to knocking in a international players bat to knocking in a 1 stripe to polishing a refurbished bat.

Mental and brilliant that kind of work will never be just a job it would be the ultimate.

I have worked hard to get my chance and will work harder to keep it.

Tell you I burnt my fingers bineding which I have to admit I'm crap at.

Love the pictures, keep them coming

There seems to be a few questions about cricket bat handle twine, are you able to find out what b3 use? Some people are using butchers twine, sack like material twine, thin cotton twine etc!

Or better still maybe sell a few rolls?
