i own 2 pairs of these (as the Sachin glove) bought from Uzi.
compared to an English brand glove e.g. comparing to my old Chase 175 gloves, they are "slightly" snug. I wear a size 7 glove, so my hands are on the small side I suppose, but these feel snug without being tight.
Yes, they have little ventilation - the sides are fabric rather than mesh.
But there is some mystery in their design and the leather which conspires to make me feel like I can grip the bat better than other gloves. They are not restricting, whilst not being loose or flabby in any way. If you had larger hands, I think they may be constricting.
i think the sausage and lack of segmentation means they feel "neat" when other gloves can feel a bit all at sea in comparison - squared off multi-segmented gloves particularly - feels like the glove is pulling my hand rather than the other way around. i know this doesn't follow the anatomical principles of our fingers, which are have 2 joints each, but there we are. Perhaps its just what I prefer.
Even though our thumbs are also jointed, I don't use it to bend my thumbs around the bat, so have not missed a joint in the thumb piece.
I play with a "fingery" bottom hand - thumb and index finger doing most of the work and have noticed that that the over my thumb IPJ the glove has begun to scuff, tho not worn through yet, after a season. The palms seem fine. I prefer spiral or chevron grips tho, I think with an octopus grip, the palms may wear differently.
Recommended - but I don't have much to compare to!
