Niall O'Brien's Bat
« on: April 28, 2014, 02:17:59 PM »

Is it just me or is it a bit shoulderless? Don't look like a GN?

Pretty sure there was a bat on ebay a couple of months ago claiming to be niall o'brian's with the same cut of shoulder.  Was another gray nicolls stickered bat too

he holds the bat so far down on the bat in order to feel comfortable he slices it off. Straight from his mouth when i played against him

Exactly what people are saying in that he saws it off himself. there's a video somewhere with him and all of his GN bats in his locker (There would be at least 15) and he spoke about having to take the shoulders off due to gripping so far down on his bats. Anybody who grips it far down will know the feeling of having the corner "in the way" as such.
