we joined a new league in part because we were fed up of trecking 30 miles plus every other sat to some (No Swearing Please) hole in coventry or nuneaton

couple of 60+ treks this season but the majority of grounds are now closer - for the longest trips for each side we've decided drivers dont pay a match fee

We are looking into the possibility of hiring a mini-bus for some of our longer range fixtures in the Sussex League this year. They aren't so far away but it's difficult to get across East Sussex quickly.

Added bonus of this is that you'll have more people able to have a drink after the game with fewer drivers!

I am in a similar situation the Worcester county league used to be split into two Worcester North and South the current setup means me travelling, the longest journey Stourbridge to Ross on Wye with 12.30 Start time.
