Alright, not your standard which scuff sheet is better etc. thread but more of what to do?
Purchased a bunch of scuff sheets, of a brand I have used before and liked, they all arrived and every single one of them has failed to stick to a bat so far (about 6 of them wasted). Basically when I peel them off the paper a lot of the glue is left behind on the paper and not enough on the sheet to stick to a bat, it leaves a horrible sticky/guey mess on the back paper / wax paper or whatever it is and does not stick to the bat at all (especially the edges). Tried using electrical tape to get the edges to stick for a week but still no luck.
Question is what would be the cause? and what can I do to the rest of them to make them usuable?
I have tried heating the them with a hair dryer, cooling them in the fridge, on an oiled bat, on an unoiled bat and no luck.
