I got a rather special one having only been able to open the box today, she has six wobbly grains and a few blemishes but a 40mm edge and a 61mm spine despite the scooping all at a tiny 2'7. Picks up like a dream compared to my 3'1-2'13 match bats.
Pics later today methinks

Pictures of the two I purchased, both 2lb 10oz. The bat on the right (which is still in its plastic cover) features pretty straight 20 grains approximately, I have photographed this in detail.

However, I guess these are only real bargains if they actually go and have some ping. We had a few shockers when we did the lower grade bat-off a year or so ago.

Be nice to get some reports back on performance when they are knocked in. (However if someone wants to flog me one at a modest mark-up, I would be persuaded :))

The Mrs didn't allow me to tap them up last night (blame the bloody Kardashian's) so haven't been able to test responses yet. When I have a minute, I will get some measurements up for the 5 bats to compare.

Mine arrived yesterday along with the cheap spikes.

Quite pleased with it, not as good looking as a lot on here as it's got less grains and is a bit uglier. But it looks like quite a big bat and on the heavier side of the weight range which I prefer. It's not too far off the size of my 3lb Redback paradox in terms of edges.

What is a bit odd is that it's almost an inch longer blade than my Redback, not sure if anyone else has found this.

I'll try to weigh it and get some pics up soon.

The spikes seem pretty good too, tried them on and they're very comfy.

Mine turned up today.

Was just coming on here to ask if anyone else's appears to be a long blade, looks like gdb19 has answered that.

Mine is relatively small, but also fairly light, for 25 quid can't really complain.

Looks like a competition at Slaz/Sports Direct to make up the most outrageous price on a product and see how far they can drop it.

£199.99 for one of those, i would have cried tears of blood.

Any sports direct rrp I take with a pinch of salt,  and then another couple for good measure. They are completely misleading for those who don't know the market.

Would I buy one for £200? - Hell no!

Would I buy one for £100? - off the net,  probably not. If I saw one in a shop and I was impressed, then I might take a gamble. £100 for a grade 3 bat is fair I would say.

That´s probably why I bought them. I picked a few up in the shop and nearly forked up 100 quid for one. Now I´ve bought 3 and have been able to take my pick for 20 quid. I bought a few other things so I got free postage (which is what they bank on I suppose).

Plus the fact I wasn´t totally convinced a dual spine would work, till I tapped up a original Scoop that belonged to a team-mates dad.

Saw one of these in the flesh today. Undoubtedly one of the biggest cricket bargains ever.

Obviously things get cheaper in bulk, but i would guess the machining of the scoop on the back, the cost of the handle as well as the cost of the grip, stickers and toe guard all add up to more than the price paid by you chaps. Thats before we even get to cost of the cleft, labour, shipping, storage.....

Looking at them again tonight, the quality of stickers and finishing is pretty impressive, better than I was expected from a sports direct/ made in India product.

I'm very pleased with mine, long blade which is an unexpected bonus. Used it at coaching session tonight against bola balls and it felt really good. Not too much different to my redback really. Well worth £20, of course there'd be no way I'd pay £200 for one.
