with the highest being 1++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ + 10000000

Shilly, am not an expert but I have used used quite a lot of bats nearly all asian brands and few English.
But I think SS bats are perfectly pressed they ping nicely and still quite durable nd i dont want to go into 2 much detail.
The makers of SS are very highly skilled and they have mastered the art of pressing bats perfectly so thats why SS bats are better then rest few other brands arent so bad lyk CA, SG.

guys leave the poor soul alone. He's just trying to share his thoughts and pictures of his would be bats. Maybe he is commenting on the bats basis his experience with the quality of bats he gets from Ajit. If Ajit get his bats diretly from SS and hand picks them, then I am sure they will be good. There are a lot of sellers aroung how go directly to SS, SG, BDM, BAS and hand pick bats for selling in overseas markets. Willow and Leather is another seller (see on ebay).

Do not know about the SS Steel, but I just bought a SS Hero for a freind from Lukey Sports and it pings really well. The grains are not the best (think 5-6) but it will surely register very highly on the ping-o-meter.

Majid, I beat you on the bat-o-meter and ping-o-meter this time with my Platinum reserve. :)

Most bats are pressed well. The true test is to get the pressing on the toe right, which unfortunately most of the Asian bat makers are still struggling to perfect.

Hopefully, with greater outsourcing from Aus and Eng brands from India/Pak, the bat makers will learn this skill soon. Till then they need to perfect the finishing/waxing/boning part.....loads to catch-up....

"i dont want to go into 2 much detail" no please more detail....  as you said perfectly pressed and master the art of pressing...  but not why?

Dont care about Ajit or Lukey Sports and I think it is about time they paid for advertising if there names get dropped on this website anymore.... and maybe start looking at what motives people have about posting about them

nope the true test isnt pressing the toe right... It is about pressing the whole blade correctly not just the toe...  The reason the toe is softly pressed is in this video posted by Tom

I think that Majid is entitled too his own opinion, like everybody else. As Majid correctly said some of the Indian/Pakistanni bat makers are amongst the most experienced and best in the world, and a lot of english made bats are pressed in India. But as other people have also stated, there are an awful lot of skilled bat makers out there.

He did say hes making the statements according to his experience from the bats he has owned.. I mean isn't everyone allowed to have their own opinion??

Getting back on topic, these bats do look great (IMO).. I feel most of the Asian bats do offer a great bargain compared to their price and the price of their international competitors.. They are very good value at their price level..

Yep he's entitled to his opinion but for every bat he gets sent a picture of to have professional / outstanding ping, pressed immaculately, also tell us where the sweet spot is and to have 35mm edges or more and be under 2lb 9oz.  Well that is just plain wrong.

It is not an opinion it is merely spouting off information that is incorrect.

Asked why the pressing is so good in his opinion the answer "i dont want to go into 2 much detail / perfectly pressed and master the art of pressing" - Isn't an answer or an opinion it is just a load of words that are grouped together and mean nothing.  He could have answered that in so many ways and it would have been correct.

So in summary yes an opinion but an opinion based on a picture no that is not acceptable in my eyes
