Been so busy that I haven't been able to start up my own thread about a recent gem of a Butterfly I got from B3, so figured I'd take some photos and post them up here!
If you look beyond the stain, that's 7-8 very straight and even grains, and to top it off, they run very straight through the toe. (Apparently a sign that the toe is more durable) The bat is a thing of beauty, weighing in at just over 2lb 9oz when it arrived, and weighs under 2.10 with a scuff and shoe goo toe. It's the Mull profile, and made from a 368 density butterfly, so really very light for the size! The stain is just above the middle, and I feel that although it took quite a bit of hammering to level with the rest of the bat, it just extends the optimum hitting zone, as it seems to rocket right off that bit, even though it sounds a bit odd!
Anyways, a proper review of service and bat will be up sometime in the next month, when I get a proper chance to use it! Also got one of the leather bags, which for £15 are fantastic quality. Cannot recommend the B3 Butterfly more for value and quality, B3 are definitely a unique offering in the bat business!
