I appreciate everybody's comments and thoughts so far.  Will see how the next couple of weeks go and try to finish the season with my current club,  I do think it's time to move on as I'm sick of the same situation every season, this is as bad as its been.  Going to do some research around the local area also :)

I'd still that bloke his public comments are unacceptable though, and try to get an apology. He's behaved like a twonk!

I'd move clubs. People forget it's a leisure time activity and not super serious. Even at ECB prem level it's not quite serious enough for chairmen etc to get all high horse about it. The club won't survive without paying players if it treats it's club men badly. I suspect most 'big' clubs who act like that pay players to maintain themselves.

Time to move on I think
It's never an easy decision, especially if you've played their a while, but , it sounds like you've lost faith in the club
And once that's in your head, it's very difficult to motivate yourself to play

I changed clubs this season, after almost packing in altogether due to my previous clubs inability to manage just about everything , and in the process lose upwards of 30 players in three seasons.

If you have to ask that question then yes absolutely move but I would say finish the season first. And before getting in to any altercations make sure you get your transfer form etc.
Have you got any clubs you would like to join?
