I'd try dowelling, or binding the shoulder with twine for extra support, before giving up on it...

funny enough this happened to my kookabura blade :Ddidnt cause any performance or longevity issues however ...

The shoulder crack or the one developing on he back of the bat at the base of the splice under stickers?
