Shoulder ACJ injury
« on: June 29, 2014, 07:30:45 PM »

I recently whilst taking a catch I twisted in the air and landed on the shoulder ( honestly I have a light and delicate frame ) it ended up at A&E with what turns out to be a ACJ injury , any tips on how to deal with this type of thing. They stated about 3 to 5 weeks .
All advise gratefully recieved

I had a shoulder injury last season missed most of the season, my recovery consisted of a rubber resistance band and exercises assigned to me by my physio. They worked on the muscles around the joints etc to hold them steady. You can google exercise specific to your injury to do the with the band. I done them and now am back better than ever.

Try this

If you could find some specialist in your area. Results are great.

I had a shoulder joint injury a long time back while landing on a badminton court. The best advice that I got was not to play badminton for 8 weeks and it worked.
