I am not sure I agree on the branding point - Napier has his own Marlin brand for WarsopPeter Trego is known for all his tattoos - he obviously has a bat shape he likes and given his cult popularity and the fashion status of tattoos at the moment, it seems worth a go. You or I may not like it, but that doesn't make it muddled. So yes ridiculous, but also clever at the same time...
This answered my unasked question, what has Trego done to deserve his own range? Not convinced by the branding but we'll have to wait and see how well it sells.

To me it proves how much Gray-Nicolls are struggling with their player sponsorships when they need to get Trego to endorse a bat. On one side you have Dhoni, Clarke and Gayle and on another (and a supposedly bigger name cricket brand) you have Trego, Bairstow and Robson...
