Lashings played at my club recently. Didn't play personally but was an experience to watch the likes of Devon Malcolm and Saqlain Mushtaq bowl to teammates.

Never played against anyone that famous. Reece Topley a couple of years ago at Matchplay level and Aleem Dar. That's about it. Ex Teammates played against Mohammed Asif in a one off outing for the same team Aleem played for.

It was for my old side Goresbrook in Dagenham I believe it was a matchplay game however it might have been an Under 16's friendly. Ironically it was his batting that seemed to impress most!

We are playing Lashing this Firday (http://www.lashings.co.uk/fixtures-events/view/692/Brixworth-CC)

We played them last year and beat them, Devon, use to open the bowling for our club, now he's the Chairman, hence the Lashing connection...

As for the best player I've ever played against, Ian Bell and Matt Priory were quite good! (got them both, and I got Harvey last year, he didn't wear a lid so i bounced him! then yorked him! - sucker!)

If fact there are loads of good players, its too hard to say, I can however say who is the biggest cock! DC!

Think it would be John Emburey played Old Engand sunday + he was the class player, slowed it down for us apparently just made it turn more.

Faced Min Patel at winter nets last year, also bowled at James Hockley who can bat a little bit

Devon M, John Emburey, Dom Ostler, Mike Burn, Charlie Dagnell and a few other pros were all playing at the 6 a side the other week....great to face emburey....even better to hit hit for a boundary :)

Played the Zimbabwe u19 captain the other night, I think he was last years captain anyway, but my god could he hit a ball... it went (no swearing please) miles! He got 90-odd off 40!

Digging it up! James Taylor as a yoof for me, few in the Leics age group system around then went on to play professionally but he was far and away the best.
