New shoes
« on: July 20, 2014, 09:25:04 PM »

Looks like I may need some new batting spikes, played 20/20 Friday at Eltisley and I'm pretty sure I've left them there. I've contacted club but am awaiting a reply. If not found what is currently on offer and best value for money. No real budget to be honest but I like to get my money's worth. Seen a lot about these w3. Are they actually any good as they seem well priced. Old pair were asics and I was very happy with them.

The new Nike shoes are really comfortable. You know what you get with Nike.

If you have been wearing Asics, then you are by now accustomed to a high standard. Stick to Asics as nothing really beats them.

I'd disagree on the VKS asics point.  I've worn them for the last four years and moved to Nike spikes and Adidas rubbers this year and found them both to be equal to the asics.  There's plenty about. Take your pick.

Try the 200 Not Out from Asics and I think you'll be hard pushed to find a more comfortable shoe.

My bowling shoes are the 180no from a few seasons ago. I've been really happy with these.
I bought a pair of the New Balance 4030s earlier in the year to be my batting shoes. For the amount spent, for me they have worked out better value for money.
I'll be heading to New Balance 4040s when my bowling shoes need replacement.
