I was looking for a bat for a team mate and after a few very good offers we decided to go to Rob Pack :), it turned out to be a great decision as these bats arrived yesterday and we could not be happier. I asked Rob for 2 bats and he delivered more than I expected.

One bat is 2'9 (Bombora shape), spine runs to the toe, edge is 40 mm and spine is 60+mm, about 10 grains
2nd bat is 2'11 (Indian Shape), spine does not run all the way to the toe, edges at 45mm and spine is 70+mm, about 16 grains.

Both bats have a little bit of concaving, both pick up incredibly light and rebound with a new ball is unreal. I didn't ask Rob for a certain grade of willow, to me it looks G1 but everyone will have their own opinion and what blew me away was the price. 210GBP, he took VAT off for us so came down to under 180 which is butterfly territory  :o. Rob's service is exceptional, considering Simon was off on vacation and Rob has been super busy. He is always nice to deal with and the bats speak for themselves. Now here are some pics, they are off my phone to apologies in advance.

Should add that these are not custom shapes, just requested RPC stickers as we love them.

Wow...great finds Tushar. Love the bombora shape and awesome bargains. They look like most G1 bats to me.

Wow.... Lovely profile and ultimate pricing . Loved the grains going straight through the toe in one pic. You must be on top of the moon bud

Thanks Guys, grains go pretty much straight through the toe on both bats :). I have had 4 RPCs and 1 Blueroom LE (my current match bat) and They have all been incredible, Rob always makes a mean bat and his pricing is fair, not sure if that is because on average I buy 2 bats from him every year but considering I dealt with the girl in front office for most of the money matters I don't think this was special treatment, although picking the bats was left up to Rob and he sent me pics of what he thought would be perfect for us and I chose 2

Really good looking bats, one of them have more flatter toe than traditional curve...did you request that?

Very nice Tushar, I prefer the one that has a bit less bow to it as a personal thing but they both look very good indeed.

I think the Indian shape is bit more of a bow, middle on that thing is unbelievable.

Amit, the bombora shape one pings all over and has a very long middle. Indian shape one's toe is not as pleasant, as should be expected, but the middle boggles my mind. It is a very very big bat for 2'11.

Unfortunately none of the older ones are with me anymore except for the current match bat.

I suspect it is the willow supplier, rather than Wrights or Anglian willow.

It's an old family estate in northants. Part of its land has a river through where loads of willow is home grown.
