In my opinion, when buying a Pakistani brand, roll the grip down and look for signs of wood filler. Usually a sign that the handle was botched in.

I have to admit, when buying Maliks, CAs etc... The higher up the model structure you go, the better the finish.

I like Ihsan's. I know SQ-Sports is selling one for about �225.

This BoomBoom was dropped off with us yesterday for knocking in, it is the one with the 'interesting' grip that i have made a topic about. Based on my knowledge/experience, I am certain it is a Pakistani made bat and not one of the UK made BoomBoom bats from a couple of years ago.

Note the grains, very nice indeed.

But I haven't had to look too far to find my good friend, filler....

My understanding was Boom Boom have gone bust? So possibly a fake?

Thanks for the offer, noticed they were selling them too. Was more looking for some feedback first before taking the plunge..!

Boom Boom in the UK are gone, still operating in Pakistan to my knowledge.

That is correct but I'll say stay away from boom boom.
If you want made in Pakistan go for Ihsan, CA or HS
