So when is one going to appear on the forum?

http://www.allroundercricket.com/cricket-bats/Gunn-and-Moore-Cricket-Bats/sigma-cricket-bats/sigma-808-5-star-cricket-bat

When I've seen one in the flesh. For some reason, the GN scooped bats appear (to me at least) to be organic and natural. In the pictures, these look like features added to show the DXM capabilities rather than part of the natural form of the bat. Having said that, the Zona in pictures looked awful, but the one I picked up and waved around was lovely. Hence why I'd like to see one!

Reminds of a Puma from a few years back. I agree with Tim, the scooping doesn't follow the flow of the blade.

I'm certainly not a fan but thought we would have seen at least one on the forum by now

Think the scoops will grow on me in a little bit of time but I love the GM carved out at the bottom, Wish they could do one range with no stickers but just carving using the machines they have.

I note that the sticker says "Hand Made in England by Gunn and Moore since 1885". Really? What's this DXM then?

Not a fan personally of the scoops or colour scheme. Nice looking bat though mate

Bat has a good feel to it, but agreed the scoop design takes some getting used to.

What is the edge and spine height and weight of this one? just to get an idea of size. Toe looks fairly thick.

The more I look at it, the more I like it. Especially the GM logo at the toe

I don't like that, too much going on and they've removed wood from the toe which is already a vulnerable area.

I know a skinny toe isn't an issue, but a toe with scoops out of it is a different discussion isn't it?

Is it just the pictures or is the finishing a little off on the CNC'd bit? Might be just the lunchtime beers setting in! (We have a good excuse, colleagues birthday...)
