Ok mate, I am a bit intrigued because I have seen very similar bags being sold as just bags [not cricket specific], more like luggage bags in India.
What is the custom bit here apart from the logos?
Did you design color scheme or picked from a range of options.
What annoys me about really big bags is the bit where you have to overhaul the whole thing while looking for something. This is very I quite liked the Aero Tour but it was a bit too big, stiff and cumbersome.
Hi palmist, sorry for delay, mixture of pre season trial games, my old mans 50th birthday party as well as fathers day here in AUS.
This bag has been purpose built, the pockets on the bags were modeled on a bag from a well known cricket brand. The colour scheme was brought about by working with the agent and had a range of options but was in essence my idea.
This bag has some flaws as the manufacturer forgot the walls that would hold the sides up and give stability, They were meant to just be attached by velcro. The velcro is sewn in, just minus the walls, so i am making my own.
I am making them out of old plastic liners from previous cricket bags and attaching stick on velcro to them.
I have also added 2 extra wheels to the bag as it lacked a bit of stability and dragged a little but after putting them on this afternoon it has solved that problem.
Those pics are coming shortly
To answer your question about overhauling the bag to find what you need, I pack my bag meticulously so i know exactly where everything is. there is enough room in the bag to search without throwing items out of the bag and placing them back in the bag.
Hope that helps mate
