Notts vs Yorks
« on: September 11, 2014, 03:00:40 PM »

Anyone else noticed what looks to be a meaty double surface crack in James Taylor's Maverick? - it looks like it's about to split in thirds lengthways!!
Is it really a GN or does he dress up a GM? Either way it appears to be soft pressed....

There is, of course, a world of difference between cricket and the movie business . . . I suppose doing a love scene with Raquel Welch roughly corresponds to scoring a century before lunch. - Oliver Reed

Can see something on the face, but did you see that Bairstow stumping excellent by him, poor by Patel.

Just seen it, great glove work.
As a batsman you'd be pretty peed off but it looked quality in real time.

Slow mo makes it look worse than in real time.

It has been an excellent day of cricket - much more lively than yesterday. Jack Brooks has been on particularly good form too!

I think that stumping is indicative of why Samit hasn't played more for England. He does get out in stupid ways.

PAtel has not played more for England because he just isn't good enough, simple as.

Though the run out is comedy gold....
