Here's a few hastily snapped pics

Profile, can someone confirm if it's a regular Octane shape?

Not quite only a face a mother could love, but an unusual one, couple of big wide heartwood grains on the outside edge followed by some very tight grains across the middle, I counted around 17 in total.

Few surface cracks needing repairing but otherwise she's in good condition, big for the weight and goes as well as anything else I own. Bargain for under £100.

I don't have a profile shot of my octane but the peak of the spine rises sharper then drops quickly.

Yours definately seems a different shape.

The scuff sheet (and tape) were under the stickers so that made me presume so, only thing i wondered about is it has cork inserts instead of rubbert in the handle, but I know Gm do both, though though it was only cork in lower models?

No real way to confirm but all the usual signs (shoulders toe) etc point towards it being GM made, can post photos if anyone thinks they can tell for sure.

Looks like an older model GM, purist 2 vintage.

It's a very similar shape to the Purist stickered Catalyst I posted earlier, will snap one of them together tonight if I remember.

Some poorly taken photos suggest it's very similar in shape to the Gidman catalyst I got before, but the knob on the handle is markedly different so unless GM have hanged that over the years maybe it's stickered up, though GM do insist this doesn't happen.
