You are correct, it is a very strange shape: Cook has an unusually-wide jaw and rather thick hips.... Oh, wait, were you talking about his bat? Yea, that is bit weird too...   :)

I think it's the helmet that accentuates the width of his jaw and the deep-set eyes.

But yes, the bat looks, dare I say it, rather plank-like.

it may be a huge bat but Ali looks like he has a wand and was slapping it to all parts today

Does that prove having a 4 inch deep bat makes not a jot of difference to strokeplay?

That Omega looks pretty normal compared to the retail Omegas that VKS posted. What a let down...

It's deffo not an omega by shape, just by Gaudy stickers only.

Interesting that gray nics said "a lot of pros are choosing the omega on there own, we aren't forcing them too"

Now is this the actual omega they are choosing? Or just the stickers and softs like cook.

We all know what actually happens - they wouldn't let all the pros use the omega and none use the oblivion or f18 for example

GN have just tweeted the pic too:

Surely people are going to notice that his bat is a completely different shape to the one they pick up in shops? People can't be that oblivious, can they?

It's interesting that they can get away with blatant false advertising like this.

A few tennis racquet manufacturers have fallen foul in the US in recent years by doing this type of thing - ie players claimed to be using certain racquets when they are paint jobs over obsolete or special one offs...

You can tell it's a slow Friday. Just noticed that the pads have "Legend" on the straps...

GN must think the average punter is rather thick.

This has been happening for years. Why the indignation? People will want it, or not, because Cook uses the stickers.
