Just wait till you've joined fellow forumites at the oval, picked up various bats (brands) and realised for no reason you really need half a dozen bats! :D

Same here. I'll be bringing one ball but its certainly not in its first, second or even third flush of life.

my 6-22 was back when I was playing a lot of youth cricket and predominantly as a bowler... was a sunday league game too on a minefield and I no longer bowl !

its straight ish !

what end of the ground is the cricket school does anyone know ?

It's right in the middle. You'll have to go to the main gate at the pavilion end to get in.

I hope you are all ready for this evening. My kit is sitting here at work. These Ton bags are pretty big, I have to admit, with everything I have in it. It still needs the waist belt to support it properly though...

I have the following bats with me for people to have a use of...

Mmm going to be like a kid in a sweet shop  :)  Must admit I was too embarassed to bring my fire engine red GN1000 duffle into the office - some people just don't get it!

My colleagues are used to it. Some of th emsaller members of my team have offered to see how far I can carry them in the Ton...
