Pressing: Soft. Light Mallet contact is leaving small dents on the face of the bat.

Finish: Best I have seen so far of all the bats I have posted on the forum.

Pick up: Like a 2-9/2-10 bat. I have a recent B3 acquisition that weighs 2-10.9 and feels like a 2-10 pick up. This is supposed to be heavier. I will confirm the weight in a few days.

Handle and grip: Very comfy. Handle is slightly wide than I had had spec'd but that could be due to added thickness of the ripple grip. I will re-measure the handle girth without the grip.

Response: mallet response is good. Mid-low pinging better than mid-high. Rebound will improve a lot after oiling and knocking. I am seeing a lot of small indentations from the mallet.

I wonder what is the density of the cleft. This is supposed to be a 2-13 bat but is picking nice and light.

Lovely looking bat, I like the offset profile. John is knocking out some really nice bats, the X* i got is beautiful. I'm expecting the T20 bat he had in his sale soon too. The only thing I don't like is the red and white but thats nothing to do with cricket
