Kp will not be bought back buy Delhi.  I'm that confident I shall find a bookie and put money on it. And here's why.

Buy back ability. Just because you can buy someone back doesn't mean you will.
De Villiers, gayle,  Kohli,  stern, warner, pollard, Dhoni etc. Non of these have been released by the club's.  Why? Because they are classed as there stars. The guys you don't want other franchises to get a sniff off purchasing.
Kp is job longer in this ilk. He is an also ran. Poor recent record and a dodgy knee.

Delhi have given him 4 years and the last 2 he's done nothing. And they believe he has had his chance and want to rebuild elsewhere.
He failed last year and had his dodgy knee year before.  He's don't nothing in between. So they have moved on.

Only way they'd want him back is if he has a magnificent big bash.  Couple of tons 6s galore. But then he may cost more than they originally bought? And no one's gonna want to pay more for a player you released

Will he play IPl.  Yes. But he'll be at another franchise and play as a back up with the odd cameo.

Yuvraj is in a worse position.  He is Indian.  He isn't a limited number foreign international.  So he's gonna he gutted to be released.
Granted due to the ridiculous money paid for him. His only ever gonna be cheaper who ever buys him. So maybe rcb will. But again  I doubt it.

Finch!  Sunrises struggled last year as the had 3 openers. Finch warner and dawhan.  They chopped changed. Dropped all season and struggled.
They must have decided dawhan and warner are this year's choice. And with finch being a fforeign international.  Why put 2 square pigs in a round hole. When they can release and replace with hopefully a round perfect peg.

Which makes me think. Yuvraj and finch will end up at Delhi. And this is who they will build there team around. A Indian middle order buffer and the world's best t20 player.

Delhi's a more sporting pitch than Bangalore. So if a slogger like Yuvraj couldn't get runs playing on a batting paradise. There would be little point in Delhi signing him.

Pointing the finger at fellow pro's especially those low earners is below the belt. Just when the guy starts to grow on you he shoots himself in the foot.

Nothing really surprises with KP anymore.

The thing is he is very entertaining as a cricketer and even a commentator during the big bash, shame he has to come out with rubbish like this from time to time

It's like he's in a perpetual contest with the English Cricket Board/Team to see who can cause the most facepalms from the viewing public.

Brain to mouth filter is needed with KP. It's a damn shame that someone with that much talent continues to act like a complete bell end. There's just no defending him anymore. After saying that I'd be surprised if he plays any form of cricket in England ever again. The struggling IPL squads and BB teams may try and get him on the cheap and when he turns them away he will be on celebrity big brother and I'm an idiot get me out of here.

Damn shame. The amazing plonker

Probably 70% of paid cricketers are nowhere near playing for England. Either overseas, Kolpak, decent hard working Pro's or up and upcoming youth. It's not what he is saying that's the problem. It's the fact he is right and many County Chairman don't like it. If you want to be the best you need to play the best, 18 counties isn't the best as far as t20 is concerned. Even the County Championship is dilluted by having many England prospects in Div2.

The argument against KP completely falls to pieces when any county attempts to play in the Champions League. Somerset once made it to the main tournament but it's boys against men. Now if 2 counties were merged, with 9 teams of considerable strength then they would have a chance. To some extent less players would mean better paid players with a Pyramid structure of part time pro's being tested in a revamped minor county championship/t20 below, to keep the full timers hungry.

As I have said before, the county system is out of date and not commercially viable but nobody will admit it.

Has anyone actually heard the proper interview? I can only see ESPN and the Daily Mail showing this story.

Words can be changed very differently for an article!

And the word Muppet is taken straight to be talking about the lower paid English professionals.

You could easily read it that its meant about the lower class overseas being employed by the counties on 15-20k, meaning you would get better overseas playing.

Am I trying to think too much of KP here? I just want the best players playing for England!

KP states valid points, but biting the hand that fed him seems a bit rich. If the county system wasn't in place (I'm not saying the structure is right), would KP have ever got the chance to be a pro cricketer? Engage brain, be gracious and make valid points without vindicating others.

KP left south Africa to play here because he claimed black players were blocking his way. more rubbish as it proved later.
the question is I suppose if he would of stayed in SA would he of played international cricket with smith,kallis,boucher,etc.....
he came here and was picked for England fairly quickly.

we will never know I suppose, but it's only ever been about him, never the team.
i'm sure thee are those on here who think 'manage him and get on with it' but there is a history of difficult players who have played for England and they were accommodated most of the time.

being a mercenary cricketer suits him down to the ground, just don't keep going on about wanting to play for England, the fake tattoos don't mean a thing
