Ajinkya Rahane surely showing he's set for a long Test career. Whereas overrated players like Rohit and Pujara are hyped to the moon and back, Rahane just lets his bat do the talking. Rahane's already bagged a hundred @ Wellington, Lords and the MCG(plus a 96 at Jo'burg). Classy player.

Kohli has shown he had the capability to rectify the technical errors he made in the horror tour of England. In England he played with an open face too often, he's certainly fixed that in Australia. He's already got 6 Test hundreds outside Asia.

Mitchell Johnson cleaned up India's lacklustre tail quickly and bagged Australia a 65 run first innings lead. If Warner gets going, Australia could be in a position to declare after tea with a target of 350/400.

Looking ahead both Smith and Kohli have three centuries so far in the series. Depending on what happens over the next two days, both could end up with 4 centuries in the series by the time Sydney Test ends. The world record is 5 centuries in a series by legend West Indian Clyde Walcott.

Richie Benaud. Bill Lowry. Tony Gregg. Unforgettable voices. Ian Healey and Nichols are pretty good, other two guys I don't like. Clarkey may have a fine future in the commentary box.  :D

Is it hypocritical of Kohli to do the same thing he whinges publicly about? I don't have an issue if he gives as good as he gets, just don't play the victim in press conferences.

Australia declare on the stroke of lunch.

India have been set 384 runs of 68 overs.

Be some chase if they can get anywhere near it

We've all been there when on 99... There is just a little voice in the back of your head which says "go for it!"
