I've pleased to say that I've placed an order with Jake. I asked for a slightly different take on one of the standard shapes. Jake spoke to Matt about it and Matt confirmed that it could be done.

It might take a couple of weeks for Matt to find a suitable cleft but it will be worth the wait!! I'll post a review when it comes.

We had a great day with Matt at H4L yesterday, picked out some lovely bats, especially some light ones which was fantastic.

Only taken a few snaps so far, just quick ones of a few of my favourites really.

Is it the light or a whole load of heart wood on display? Lovely looking sticks though! There is something about h4l that really stands out in a way that some brands don't/ try and fail at!

5/6 of those bats have heartwood. A couple of them are naturally a bit darker but not heartwood bats.

Absolutely, the NV Pro pictured is amongst the best bats i have ever seen.

Just under 2'11. If you are after something a little lighter i have this Tempo Pro at just under 2'9 or this Hattori Pro at 2'10. I love the new Tempo shape.

This is one of the bats for a forum member that we asked Matt to make. The customer was in no rush so i've been knocking it in for him over recent weeks. Now that his blue H4L pads have arrived, i'm sending the whole lot out. 2'14 and massive!
