Love the bottom lid, with the royal blue colour and dark peak.

Hi everyone , this is my first post on the forum from Texas, USA ! Purchased a black masuri vision elite titanium from Jake at Vitas. Must say that the helmet is pretty good.  Considering that we play on concrete/carpet wickets where even slower medium pace bowlers can bounce the ball to head height - a good helmet is a must.  The masuri vision elite is comfortable and fits well. The double grill doesn't affect the vision at all & you don't notice the 2nd grill. Maybe a little heavier than my previous helmets but you get used to it pretty quick.
And the customer service from Vitas is excellent too !

We don't stock Shrey. Based on the ones we've seen, we are not prepared to put our name to them, build quality is rather questionable.

The general consensus seems to be that you don't really notice the extra weight when its on your bonce.

I only wear it occasionally, when someone has serious wheels. I hate wearing a lid and my old masuri was the best I had but it died in a fire so ideally I would like the same again

Still not buying this fully, with old style lids you could definitely tell the difference between a ti and steel grille. Haven't worn a new Masuri for an extended period of time but don't see why that should change other than that you might get used to it over time.

I think you are probably correct; but if you get used to it, is it really an issue? On the other hand I can see if you only wear it occasionally  it might be more noticeable but (playing devil's advocate here) are those few grams really going to make that much difference to the way you play?

Yeah that's very true, depends if you do get used to it though. I know personally that switching to a titanium grill was a big factor in me getting used to wearing a helmet, even after a full year of using one I still didn't like it but losing some of the weight made the difference.

Fair enough, what ever works for you.

Where is the best place to get a custom shrey air? Can see them stocked on a lot of sites but no custom option like with the masuris?
