My new RK custom
« on: March 05, 2015, 08:26:46 PM »

Hi guys

Just thought I`d share my new purchase RK custom bat. Went to see Ryan a few weeks ago to get a joker esque bat made. Ryan`s top bloke had a good chat with him and really good customer service. Started knocking in the bat
and it pings all over can`t wait to test it in the nets. Has a really good pick up you can`t tell it weighs 3lb+

Specs

Weight - 3lb 2
Edges -  40 mm
Spine Height -  65-67 mm
Concaving - Minimal/ Moderate
Ping - It pings like a  b*****d
Pick up -  really good

Next to my last seasons match bat

Looks like a cracking profile was it replicated on a specific profile? Good to see an RK on here again as not seen one in a while. Finish looks excellent as does the stickers on the new bats and willow grade looks to be very good as well .

That weight is huge though, you must have some guns to bat with that for any length of time lol

Look at the OP and there's a list of specs answering most of these questions, and the pictures show the swell of the sweetspot and the bow....  :-[

Yh I had my uncle's Raje bat replicated but his bat had a lower spine height and a lot of concaving. His weighs 2lb 14 but Ryan somehow managed (witchcraft) to get the pick up spot on. Not much difference between pick ups execpt one has more wood.

I saw this bat yesterday whilst we were having a little net.

The pick up was amazing, I would never have guessed it was 3lb if I hadn't known already, more like a 2,11 or 2,12.

Absolutely huge piece of timber but very well balanced.  It seemed to ping well off the middle too.

It's an amazing bat, very jealous Qasim.

Top job by Ryan too, superb bat

Thanks mate, appriciate the good feeback. It's always nice to get a little feedback from other people and it's all positive so no complaints here.

Here's some photos of the bat before Qasim collected.
