SCAT series 1 for sure, will defintely beat everyone in middle length & width along with bat pickup as well. Nearest I think would be B3 Trott profile.

Down to the bat maker and his pressing talent

I think a Slaz V1200 is similar to the SCAT profile and with the dual scoop it should be wide enough. Shame they are judged on the SD Fusion bats which are very badly pressed.

Look at my Blank Bats hulk thread - that is arguably a similar shape to a tour XL with a video review and some pics

but in simple terms the middle is long and starts about 4-5 inches from the toe.

For  me nothing touches the 1271 in terms of volume of wood bar the tendulker.

I have dont volume conversions the tendulkar is volume wise bigger than almost any bat made from a normal sized cleft

No bother on the cad design we get a cleft we see how much wood is used in a shape.

The tendulkar shape uses more of a normal sized cleft than 90 per cent of all profiles.

The 1271 which is a trott players profile uses up a big proportion and the shape and size allow for a maximum hitting area. The scat profile is very similar in terms of coverage too.

Coverage= size of good playing area with decent rebound

All different for different people mate.

As convex bats go I feel scalloping is required towards the toe

I did this too it picks up a treat
