Outdoor Nets
« on: April 10, 2015, 08:25:46 AM »

Had my first outdoor club  net last night and what a shocker missed straight balls and couldn't hit any shots it's back to basics to workout whats gone wrong  as I have my first net with the Worcester County seniors next week based on last night not worth a place in any  fourths or fifths side.

Are you off during the day?? If so, happy to come up and throw balls at you on your wicket.. Few hours hitting will get you sorted

Ps, that's the joys of indoor roads :) zero % like outdoor. It's why you literally can't judege people on indoor form

I wouldn't worry about it mate. It happens. I remember having a net using a bowling machine in Malta with some mates who live out there. I literally missed everything. Honestly, I was on it for about 20 minutes and I couldn't hit the ball no matter what I tried to do. It was very distressing at the time but it's hilarious to look back at now!

I had quite the reverse, first bowling machine wound up to 80 with a bit of swing, everything out of the middle, then hopped into the other net to face the bowlers and mostly everything straight out of the middle. Although last year could not hit a thing, swings and roundabouts mate.
