ECB missed a trick. They could've selected KP in the squad then used the "he's not playing well in the nets" as an excuse not to pick him. Make him carry out the drinks then
interesting little stat'Sixthly, beware "throwing around statistics". Pietersen averaged 33.3 in 14 Tests after his Mumbai masterpiece in late 2012. Cook also averages 33.3, in 20 matches since the start of the 2013 Ashes. Bell averages 32.9 in 15 Tests since the beginning of the 2013-14 series in Australia. Some statistics are boomerangs.'Shows up the ECB's stance on keeping Cook in the job really
What Cook average in last 10 tests mate !!!Ps I not intrested I the ECB or KP
taking into account who it was against.. not really good enough. Move it back to a point when he was playing decent opposition who can actually bowl to a plan
Anybody got any stats on Bell when KP has been batting at 4 and Bell at 5?. My theory is KP is a lightening rod for the oppo and Bell's life get's alot easier when the heat isn't on him. For me Root ought to move up to 4 and Bell drop down to 5, I think Bell is a reluctant test match 4 at best.
