On a side note Fidel Edwards looked absolutely deadly tonight. Looked to be bowling 90mph at a minimum on a constant basis and some of his bouncers were mad. Good way to go when you've just reclaimed your place in the side. Bit awkward having Jackson Bird (your overseas player) as your 12th man carrying out the spare balls for the umpire as Gayle loses them...

Buttler is an absolute freak, he won lancs the game for them all by himself. Watch the replays on Sky tomorrow and you'll see why!!

That was an insane chase by Buttler. What was incredible was how he always looked in control, no matter what wasp was saying he backed himself to take it home. He's a really special player in limited over cricket

Shame they've not shown a single game of his on TV. That's 3 from 3.

Time for some of these games with big players to be shown on freeview TV! What's the point having the likes of Gayle, afridi and mccullum if you don't show the big names playing.

Somerset put a wheelie bin at the non strikers end while Chris scores all of the runs.

Fantastic innings by Ross Whiteley for Worcester tonight vs Yorkshire, live on Sky. 91 off 35 balls with 11 massive 6's. Hitting it miles with his Adidas Pellara, if that's what it really is?!

So Surrey got whopped last night, which was bad news for us. However pimms, beer and lots of food helped me get over it.

Surrey bowled poorly and Middlesex batted well. Then Middlesex bowled well and Surrey had no answer with Roy and Davies out early in the chase.

As I was on a corporate jolly, I didn't get too close to the players to get any good pics of them - but this is what I do have...

then Sanga in the nets...

Surrey are so pleasingly mediocre.
