Asics Gel Advance 6 Vs New Balance CK10
« on: May 18, 2015, 01:35:26 PM »

Afternoon chaps.

So as the title suggests, I'm weighing up which ones to buy. I've got a pair of Gel Advance 4s at the moment and they're getting quite long in the tooth. I was going to go out and buy the Advance 6s but @farnham_quins_2 mentioned New Balance and that got me thinking about them too!

Does anyone have any experience of either of these shoes? I'm drawn to the Advance 6s because i've always used Asics and they fit really well. Having said that, I run in minimalist shoes and love the feeling of control that they give you, hence the NBs. Price points are relatively similar so that's not a part of the decision.

Any thoughts would be welcome!
cheers

I think you've answered your own question :)

NB come up a bit small and possibly a bit narrower too.

One of our players NB's feel apart at the weekend after being brand new to start this season.

He was lucky that he didn't injure his ankle as he was bowling.

I've never seen that happen to Asics they are always excellent quality shoes
