Some of the posts in this thread reminded me of the pitch battles we had over logo's. One of our overly helpful committee members got a "mate" to do some artwork and it was a bit rubbish. After months of stroppy emails our chairman used his contacts to get this designed:-



Works well in different colours and backgrounds. Well worth the free shirt and sponsorship we gave the designer in return.

Haha, every sports team in Sandal has a castle as a logo as the historic Sandal Castle (battle of Wakefield, War of the Roses) is in the village.
