Hi,

I've bought some new Bradbury pads since the start of the season, only worn in 3 games but the face seems to have started to peel off in places.

Should I be looking for a refund/replacement or is this a hazard of new pads?

That's a refund!!  No pads should look like that after 3 games!

If you know you have treated them appropriately then take them back. . My feeling is that this shouldn't happen unless you are sliding in every run on really hard tracks.

Seem this on a few pads!! Awful when it does. I've found that cheaper pads have the better, stronger pu on the face

This happened to my Vulcans. After much more than 3 games though. Shame ... Good pads otherwise.

If you know you have treated them appropriately then take them back. . My feeling is that this shouldn't happen unless you are sliding in every run on really hard tracks.

I've been pretty good with them, let them dry after use, stored in my cricket bag etc. I've only slid in twice in them so far as I can remember and not exactly playing at Adelaide so shouldn't have done too much damage. I've emailed the company I bought them from so hopefully will get resolved soon

@RF Mate i don't think spray paint would be good but depending on how extensive the damage is check out the products that plastidip do. Google it. Rubberised paint. It might not stand up to a good dive but i think it could make a pad look very respectable, and if it gets damaged, just peel it off and start again.

This wouldn't be on the inside of the pads as you wear them would it? it looks like you might catch your pads on each other as you run, which if you had run a lot might cause this kind of damage.
