After a disappointing season so far for many reasons, I'm looking to get some of the above for the first time ever just so I can see what I already do well and how to confidently hit over the top and look for quick singles.
Having played my first proper league game of the season last week I got bogged down with good bowling and a keeper stood up both to quicks and slows. I know I should have done something to upset the bowlers rhythm but I came in at 5 after a quick collapse of 3 wickets and needed to stabilise first. This I did but like I said with not much happening at the other end so I ended up hanging around too long before trying to push the run rate and hitting a well timed drive to mid-off, which was taken well.
Does anyone know Serious Cricket and/or Richard Hindley, their Head Coach?
I'm looking to book 2-3 sessions when I get back to the UK, so would you recommend an hourly session over 3 days or 2 + 1 on different days? I'm only back for 2 weeks and it's an 1.5 hours each way. I live in Poole, Dorset so think Serious Cricket in Basingstoke is the closest place for me to get coaching.
Appreciate any advice or comments.
