I was talking to Marcus last week after he'd helped Matt out at Kent on his stand. He said that Warner's bat was enormous and weighed 2.10.

I think those stickers on it are the Australian Legend stickers mate not exclusive Muelamans which are a red colour. I much prefer the English legend stickers

Hi fellow forumites, a couple of months ago I was chatting to the guys at Chappells and asked if they could arrange for Stuart at GN to make a bat for me. He has made a couple of Legends for me a few years ago and is a genuine nice guy! Around 2 weeks ago, Chappells rang and said that they had emailed Stuart and he had replied saying he could help me out. Long story short, they asked me what specs I had for the bat and I simply said, "get me one of Warners bats!"
Well, this is what I picked up today:
- 2.13 finished with two grips.
- 55mm edges with only a little concaving.
- beautiful oval handle and it picks up like its 2.10 at the most!

thats the biggest bat i have ever seen weighing below 3lbs. Do update us on the performance as well. I am sure it will 'ping' everywhere

will do, mate! I've oiled her and started rounding the edges and am hopeful of some throwdowns later this week. I used the mallet on the face and it didn't really dent much at all. I've had a few bats like this (mainly from Marcus at Affinity) and hope this doesn't end up a gorgeous fence paling. lol

More than a regular Legend but less than the Legend Gold. it will probably be the last bat i buy for a while (ever, if my wife finds out how much it cost...) so i thought i would splash out and try something different.

You need to go through a retailer, the Legend price is advertised on all aussie retailers that stock them. Price would be fairly restrictive to UK customers though I think.
