Looks identical to the Kudos with an uglier front sticker.

The toe is a completely different shape to the Kudos. The Platinum is more similar to the Kudos2 but fuller (more of a convex profile, like the Tour) and a few other subtle differences.

Guys, the video of this bat should be up this evening. It won't be a typical "review" of course, because we are biased about this bat, but it will at least explain the thinking behind it and show everything in more detail. We hope the bats will speak for themselves and look forward to the feedback.

Further to yesterday, here is the video for everyone to see. Like we said, not a typical review (we don't want to appear biased), just an explanation about the bat and the thoughts behind it...

I have just written a post on LinkedIn about our experience designing the Platinum bats - please do take a look: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/designing-cricket-bat-platinum-newbery-paul-cole

Definitely a labour of love - writing the article as well as the bat designing!  :-[

Saw one of these the other day and had a little tap up with one that had been knocked in, nice profile very similar to a Tour from Newbery, not the best looking bat for the price but certainly was impressive tapping up and old ball and felt good in the hands. Hope it went well for you Paul and was worth the effort

Great to see all the work put in behind the scenes.
