Seriously chap - give the seller a day to resolve it or to come to an arrangement.
And if he doesn't, then name and shame!!

But also ensure that the admins know! As they may be able to apply a little pressure to resolve this too

Yes Norb, if you see the crack it is very near to the face of the bat and when i put paper inside to see how deep the cracks were in certain places i could see the corner of the bat coming out from other side.....same thing happened with the super clue.....

And if the seller says that it just needs a refurb, then maybe you should ask him to make an agreement with you in writing?

If he is so confident that its just a refurb required, then put his money where his mouth is!
If its sent for a refurb and thats all it needs, then no worries. But if the person doing the refurb states that the bat is knackered, then the seller needs to give you a full refund???

good point on the 666

the guy wants me to send the bat back to him and he will get it refurbed for me, but I do not want bat as I know it will not last even through the winter nets.....and not worth the �100 I paid.....

i have offered him a fair deal - he should return the money less the P&P mentioned on the postage label and I wills end the bat back to him.

Yeah i have to agree he should give you a full refund minus the postage of the 'devil' . . .its clear that he has deliberatly deceived you, very cunning 2 the method of payment was that his idea or yours yash??

If all it required was a refurb then he should have said this and if he did it should have set off some alarm bells for you.

i just spoke with James at Fusion Sports and he said it sounds like the pressing has come off a bit and hence the puffiness and the win sounds. He said he could do some repair but it will not be worth it as it will cost upwards of �30 as he has to inject glue in to the bat and re-press the bat. But the seriously reckons it is not worth going to the trouble as the problem cannot be 100% cured and will resurface eventually.......

......so a refund seems to be the only logical solution....

I mean, I have seen disappointing experiences of buying a cricket bat online (without picking it up, and having the feel of it regardless of price and brand) but this one has to be in one of the top 5 worst cases. Before throwing �100.00 out of car window, did u at least ask for a few detailed pics?
If I was you, I would print out his description details and the text messages and simply file a police report. I have done that before and I know it works

Unfortunately buying bats across the forum can be a problem if the seller is short of morels ? its very easy not to mention any problems and again its easy to make pictures look good. I have had the odd issue with sellers and he also charged a ridiculous amount for p&p although he did take the bat back. I will say that most sellers are very genuine and if you find members which are not then i feel you should name them, they have a fair opportunity to reply and put there own point across and other members wont be fooled in the future by bad sellers.

Best thing to do when paying for stuff on here is get the seller to send you a bill on paypal and then accept it as if you do get scammed you can dispute it.
DONT EVER GIFT THE MONEY !! As if you get scammed then you know what paypal will say.

Go to PayPal, open the resolution centre, simply say 'item arrived damaged' and indicate that you want a full refund. After all the seller said the bat was in perfect condition. Lets give the seller a double whammy then - no bat and no money from it.

Go on Yash, its what people like that deserve.
