Should've glues it then (in hindsight). Seen that happen a couple of times this season to tired wickets at Lords and Canterbury.

Although he did say in this particular case this pitch was always intended to be used despite sky only deciding to televise the game at the end of the test I believe?

Spot on, the chief exec who's name I forget (ex England chief exec or something similar) said they intended to use that exact wicket regardless but that the early end of the test match meant the telly cameras turned up too! And as previously mentioned that it's not unusual for them to use the same wicket in such short time. But I think with the problems they have had in the past it's maybe something they should rethink, that has clearly been a factor in the incident.

Hampshire rightfully awarded the 2 points alongside :

� The match and two points were awarded to Hampshire

� Glamorgan were deducted two points from the RL ODC in 2015 and given a further points deduction suspended for the 2016 season.

� Glamorgan were fined �9,000 of which �5,000 will be suspended until the end of the 2016 season *.

� The ECB was instructed by the Panel to pay the remaining �4,000 to Hampshire cricket to provide compensation to the club�s supporters.
