Best helmet for ventilation
« on: August 21, 2015, 11:04:00 AM »

What helmet would anyone recommend to provide the best ventilation? I really don't like the sweat bands on my masuri, I have two and change them but still find them annoying especially when it's humid.

The plastic shell Albions are really light and have more ventilation than most helmets.
Could be worth giving one of those a go?

I've got an Albion Ti22 Elite - been using it for a fair few years now, very good on ventilation (and light as a feather!!)

I don't think there really is a helmet with "good ventilation". I've worn a range of Masuri, Ayrtek and Albion helmets and always end up sweating like crazy regardless of which one.

I've always found my Masuri to be as good as any of the other helmets around.

I'm with Tim on this one, regardless of what lid I wear I sweat a ridiculous amount! Try not to wear it unless the opposition have someone with a bit of pace
