Got mine today, 7 straight grains and no heartwood at all. Very very pale though

Not a bad thing, Mike Hussey said that lighter grains are what he prefers, as he finds the wood a little softer, which is to his liking. :D

Mine is 2'10" which is probably a bit heavy for me (I'm a 2'8-2'9 man) so still tempted to get rid of it at cost...

Just remove all the stickers and the scuff sheet...it will save u 1 -2 ounces.

Well done whoever ordered these bats,its got to be the deal of the season for a hundred odd quid-thats two tanks of petrol for gawds sake
GM could of couse top it by offerering joe roots six le for fifty quit :)
